Recession What?!?--Top 100 US Advertisers

|

Ad Age recently posted their top 100 Advertisers for 2010. The CPG companies are dominating the top 5 spots; P&G, Unilever and L'Oreal are one, two and three respectively. My former company General Motors comes in a #4 and my current company Sears Holdings comes in at 43.

Although I work in the Marketing world, it is crazy to see companies spending $8B on Advertising!!! Adding insult to injury GM, who filed for bankruptcy and laid off 200,000 employees, spent 3.27B globally on Advertising.

With all the money spent on Advertising yearly, it is strange that women and minorities are still underrepresented in overall marketing campaigns.

Anywhoo see the full list of companies here!

XOXO
